Important notices

M2 0.6.1 is the current Android release

Current

Release. The owner-authorized release is available as signed arm64 and universal APKs from the immutable M2 release service.

This release preserves the io.areschannel.ares_channel package identity and the established production signing certificate. The release evidence includes checksums, an SBOM, provenance, source archive, third-party notices, and update-compatibility results.

Current verification scope

Information

Verification. Automated, emulator, artifact, signer, release-service, and update-path checks are available; an independent third-party security audit and physical-device verification are not recorded as complete.

M2 publishes the status of verification work so technical evaluators can distinguish implemented controls from independent assurance. These open items do not change the cryptographic identity of the current signed release.

M2 0.6.1 (2039) · August 19, 2026

The current owner-authorized release repairs Android PayPal preparation paths while preserving the package, production signer, Onion identities, Gateway topology, and self-managed PostgreSQL authority. Live payer approval, capture, and money movement were not run.

M2 0.6.0 (2038)

The exact archived signed predecessor remains update-compatible and was used to verify the mandatory update path to the current release.

How website updates differ

Marketing and documentation releases are deployed to Mirage Project Pages. Android release promotion remains separate: immutable objects are published and verified first, and latest/manifest.json is updated last. A website-only edit does not change that authority.

Use release evidence, not a mutable page, as authority.
